I was diagnosed with MTHFR two months ago, along with every member of my family. I began the normal supplementation--folinic acid, B-, Methy B-12, NAC, but still wasn't feeling quite right and my urine smelled like ammonia. After hours of internet research, I came across information about B-4, biopterin, and high ammonia levels. I started taking MTHFR plus Liver Support and within two days I noticed a big improvement in my attention and energy. Within a few days, the ammonia smell was gone.
