Supporting Vitamin D starts to become very important this time of the year. As I have talked about in PPT presentations, carnosic acid from rosemary extract can enhance the expression of VDR especially in the presence of vitamin D (http://jnci.oxfordjournals.org/content/93/16/1224.abstract). The new spray includes both of these components. While the suggested use on the label is 5 sprays, only 1 spray is more than the equivalent of a single vitamin D tablet. So, again only 1 spray may be sufficient. For those adults and children who find that a single vitamin D tablet is not sufficient in the winter then gradually look at increasing the vitamin D spray up to 5 sprays as needed.
