What type of sample is needed?

     A blood sample is needed. This is a blood spot test; with lancets (finger pricks) and blood card provided.

How long does it take to receive results once the lab receives the sample?

     3-4 weeks in most cases.

How will the results be provided?

     As soon as your results arrive from the lab, you will be notified via email to log into Your Health Companion for results. Your Health Companion is a secure client portal where your current and future test results, Supplement Lists, and Client History Forms will be saved.

Can this test be performed internationally?

     Yes. We have clients across the globe who perform this test.

Is shipping the sample included in the cost of the kit?

     Yes. Shipping costs as well as shipping materials are included to send the sample to the lab; there is no additional fee for this service. A USPS/ local postal envelope will be provided. *If you wish to send your sample using a trackable shipping service, please send sample to the lab’s physical address below; the cost of this lies solely on the shipper.

Can a print-out version of the results be requested?

     No. You may print out the results once you receive them.

Do I need to stop taking supplements before collecting the blood sample?

     No. Keep taking the supplements you are currently taking- as directed by your health care professional.

Is there someone at the office I can call to go over my results with?

Will my insurance cover this test?

     Any attempt at reimbursement for this test through your insurance company lies solely on the customer.
