DNA Nutrigenomic Test


What type of sample is needed?

     Buccal swab samples. 

How long do results take to come back from the lab?

     5 - 7 weeks in most cases

How will the results be provided?

     As soon as your results arrive from the lab, you will be notified via email to log into Your Health Companion for results. Your Health Companion is a secure client portal where your current and future test results, Supplement Lists, and Client History Forms will be saved.

Can this test be performed internationally?

     Yes. We have clients across the globe who perform this test.

Is shipping the sample included in the cost of the kit?

     Yes. Shipping costs as well as shipping materials are included to send the sample to the lab; there is no additional fee for this service. Shipping the sample:

• USA: USPS envelope is provided.

• All other countries: USPS/ local postal envelope will be provided.

*If you wish to send your sample using a trackable shipping service such as FedEx or DHL- please send sample to the lab’s physical address below- the cost of this lies solely on the shipper.

Does the sample need to be shipped on ice?

     No. Collect and send the sample according to the test kit instructions using the provided shipping materials.

Can a print-out version of the results be requested?

     No. Once received, you may print out the results and analysis from the email.

Will Dr. Amy personally review my results?

     No, the results are not personally reviewed by Dr. Amy. The analysis provided with the results is a standardized report that is generated through a program designed by Dr. Amy. See sample analysis here, this will provide an idea of what to expect.

Do I need to stop taking supplements before collecting the buccal sample?

     No. Keep taking the supplements you are currently taking- as directed by your health care professional.

How can I find a practitioner in my area to discuss my results with?

Is there someone at the office I can call to go over my results with?

     No. Please utilize our discussion group on www.CH3Nutrigenomics.com Dr. Amy or one of our moderators will help to guide you there.

Will my insurance cover this test?

     Any attempt at reimbursement for this test through your insurance company lies solely on the customer. No codes have been issued for Nutrigenomic Tests. The only invoice you will receive is the actual order invoice (which will be emailed as well as shipped to you with order) we cannot provide a different invoice for insurance filing purposes.
