VP of Marketing & Creative

A native of Western Maine, Missie received her BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with a concentration in graphic design, ceramics, stained glass and small metals. Upon graduating she taught Graphic Design at the MFA School for several years and continues her work as a graphic designer today, specializing in brand identity.

After spending some time in San Diego, Missie moved back to Maine and opened Juju, a small shop offering colorfully curated goods in Portland’s Arts District. Juju currently operates as a studio focusing on supporting local, independent female artists and hosts workshops across a variety of mediums. When she’s not in the studio, Missie is often at the beach or one of the many restaurants Portland has to offer with her husband Joe, daughter Charlotte, and their French bulldog Batman.

Missie has worked as Holistic Health’s Creative Director for over 10 years and enjoys the unique challenges of illustrating the science behind Dr. Amy’s individualized approach. She finds it incredibly rewarding to design scientific information in a more accessible manner for those along their path to wellness.
