DETAILS

Feel Good Nutrigenomics: Your Roadmap to Health is the first book in Dr. Amy’s “Feel Good” series. The intention of the “Feel Good” book series is to make you an expert on your path to wellness. The book includes an introductory overview of The Yasko Protocol by providing guidance on how to apply a multifactorial approach to address complex health issues.

The Yasko Protocol began with adults, was adapted to help individuals with autism, and now, in this book, Dr. Amy defines the steps for how to chart your own “roadmap to health.” She lays the groundwork for understanding the basics of methylation, the importance of genetic testing and biochemical testing, and how to apply this knowledge to address health goals and concerns with a personalized approach.

The book uses the concept of a roadmap to help readers visualize the contribution of genetics, epigenetics, and additional factors that play a role in health. Looking at where you are today and where you want to be in the future defines the road you need to take. For some, it may be a short trip to maintain health, for others it may be a marathon to achieve their wellness goals.

Dr. Amy has been helping people traverse this journey since starting her private practice in the early 2000’s. If you are looking to support an already healthy lifestyle, or to transform years of declining health, Dr. Amy’s approach empowers individuals to gain control in a way they have never imagined.

More details about SNPs can be found in Dr. Amy’s fifth book in the “Feel Good” series: Feel Good About Your SNPs.

AN EXCERPT

From the forward, written by Dr. Dalibor Hradek, reads:

This work by Dr. Amy is an example of personalized medicine which connects mainstream biochemistry and genetic roots yet reaches outside the box of conventional medicine.  The concept of personalized medicine is a treatment approach which is based on an individual’s genetics… This book, Feel Good Nutrigenomics: Your Roadmap to Health is an amazing contribution to that concept... Her program is not just about autism. And the premise of this book is that all of us need to be thinking about nutrigenomics when it comes to our health.
